Class: Vintage Christmas Tree Embroidery (11/15)

Sunday, Nov 15th, (12pm-3pm). Reservation required. 

Join instructor Nichole Heady for a relaxing afternoon of embroidery. In this class you will get started on the popular Vintage Christmas Tree Embroidery Kit, which uses various stitches to create the texture and detail of a traditional tree adorned with candles. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn new skills or more advanced wanting to stitch in a fun group setting, this class is for you.

Once this 3-hour class is completed, you will have all the necessary skills and be well on your way to completing your own holiday artwork which can be used as a tree ornament or festive holiday decor.

Skills you will learn:

• Dividing strands and floss management
• Using basic stitches to create tree texture
• Layering stitches without snags to add candles
• Fill stitches to efficiently create the pot
• Finishing the back for display

Materials:

The class includes three hours of instruction. Attendees need to purchase the companion Vintage Christmas Tree Embroidery Kit which can be purchased in-store before or the day of class using a 15% off Class Discount.
