Hand-dyed in Maine! This Olde School-exclusive Plush DK colorway was created in partnership with ontheround as a follow-up to the popular Nimble Sock version. Inspired by the way soft sage greens and ocean blues intertwine at the waters edge. Then balanced with just a touch of ecru and mustard for an earthy balance.
Plush DK is a 19.5-micron Superwash merino wool 4 ply yarn.
This is a high twist 4 ply yarn that offers great durability, and wash-ability without compromising softness. The fibers take colors exceptionally well and has a gentle shine to it which provides beautiful stitch definition.
This fiber was hand dyed by ontheround (located right in Thomaston Maine!) using professional quality acid dyes. Our yarn is dyed in small batches and no skein will be 100% the same- that's what makes working with hand dyed yarn so fun! It is recommended that you alternate multiple skeins for larger projects to create a cohesive fabric.
