Class: Felted Wreath Ornament (12/20)

Sunday, Dec 20th, (12pm-3pm). Reservation required. 

Join instructor Nichole Heady to beginner-friendly kit will introduce you to the art of two-dimensional needle felting, also referred to as wool painting. You’ll be guided, step by step, as you poke colorful bits of wool into a sheet of linen fabric to create a lovely work of art that even comes with its own hoop for display as an ornament. Finish it with the festive red velvet ribbon included for hanging. A great way to spend an afternoon getting into the holiday spirit with a friend!

Once this 3-hour class is completed, you will have all the necessary skills and be well on your way to completing your own Felted Wreath Ornament to be used as a tree ornament or festive holiday decor.

Skills you will learn:

• Overview of wool painting with lots of tips and tricks
• Preparing and dividing the wool roving
• Technique for felting the wreath leaves onto the linen fabric
• Creating the round berries and how to apply them
• Finishing and adding loop
  

Materials:

The class includes three hours of instruction. Attendees will need to purchase the companion Felted Wreath Ornament Kit separately, which can be purchased in-store before or the day of class using a 15% off Class Discount.
