1 skein DMC #498 Dark Red embroidery floss
Waste Canvas
Embroidery Needle
4" embroidery hoop

Join instructor Holly Hoffman to learn a bit about the history of traditional Redwork Embroidery while trying your hand at your very own Monogrammed Linen Napkins. These make an elegant hostess gift or a beautiful way to deck your own holiday table.

Redwork is a form of embroidery that developed in the 19th century and was particularly popular between 1855 and 1925. It traditionally uses a specific shade of red thread and was mainly used to decorate household objects, especially linens and quilts.

Holly will guide you through step-by-step, providing a variety of tips and tricks along the way. This three-hour class will provide complete instruction and you can expect to complete one Monogrammed Napkin, and have the skills to complete your set at home.

This class is designed for Adult Intermediate Beginners and up.
