Join instructor Nichole Heady as you embark on the next step of your knitting journey: making your very first sweater.  We will be using the wonderfully detailed Flax DK Sweater pattern from Tin Can Knits, with our recommendation of Kelbourne Woolens Scout yarn in the color of your choice. Once these three classes are completed, you will have solid foundational knowledge of top down raglan sweater construction and be well on your way to completing your very first hand-knit sweater.

This class is intended for the Advanced Beginner having existing knowledge of: longtail cast-on, knit & purl stitches, knitting in the round.

As a registered attendee, you will also get to schedule a private 1-hour lesson with Nichole prior to the first session. Here you will learn how to select your specific size from the pattern (so you make a sweater that fits!), calculate the amount of yarn needed for your size, discuss swatching and review the needles and tools required to complete the project. All supplies purchased during this appointment will receive a 15% discount.
