Class: Cyanotype Botanicals Embroidery (2nd date)

Saturday March 21st, 12pm-3pm. Reservation required.

Spend a relaxing afternoon with instructor Holly Hoffman learning (or rediscovering!) four different embroidery stitches and combine them to create this beautiful cyanotype botanical artwork. The easy design lets you recreate an age-old photographic process with a needle and thread for stunning effect.

Holly will guide you through step-by-step, providing a variety of tips and tricks along the way. This three-hour class will provide complete instruction and you can expect to get a good start on your embroidery project and all the knowledge necessary to complete the project at home.

• How to use the water soluble transfer design
• Separating floss strands
• Chain Stitch
• French Knots
• Lazy Daisy Stitch
• Leaf Stitch
• How to finish the back of the hoop for display

This class is designed for Adult Beginners and up. 

Materials:

The class includes three hours of instruction in a small group setting, supplies not included. The required Cyanotype Botanicals Embroidery Kit can be purchased in-store before class using a 15% off Class Discount.
