Spend a relaxing afternoon with instructor Holly Hoffman learning (or rediscovering!) four different embroidery stitches and combine them to create this beautiful cyanotype botanical artwork. The easy design lets you recreate an age-old photographic process with a needle and thread for stunning effect.
Holly will guide you through step-by-step, providing a variety of tips and tricks along the way. This three-hour class will provide complete instruction and you can expect to get a good start on your embroidery project and all the knowledge necessary to complete the project at home.
- How to use the water soluble transfer design
- Separating floss strands
- Detached Chain Leaf Fill Stitch
- Fly Stitch
- Stem Stitch
- Beaded Seed Stitch (for attaching beads)
- How to finish the back of the hoop for display
This class is designed for Adult Advanced Beginners and up.
Materials:
The class includes three hours of instruction in a small group setting, supplies not included. The required Beaded Berries Embroidery Kit can be purchased in-store before or the day of class using a 15% off Class Discount.
