This soft baby blue is a good mid tone which can be used to add depth to your needlework. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, and security. Pale blue is often associated with boys, but this wasn’t always the case. Pink for girls and blue for boys only became the fashion in the mid-twentieth century. In the 1800s the opposite was true because blue was seen as the more delicate feminine color.
