Class: Naomi Stitched Basket Bowl (6/14)

Join instructor Nichole Heady in making gorgeous, rustic nesting basket bowls with simple stitching—just a needle and yarn and your own two hands. You’ll love how quickly and beautifully these come together, no previous experience required. Learn a traditional basketweaving stitch that makes this coil construction a breeze.

Nichole will guide you through step-by-step, providing a variety of tips and tricks along the way. This three-hour class will provide complete instruction and you can expect to get a good start on one small basket bowl and all the knowledge necessary to complete the project at home. The kit includes enough supplies that you can make a second larger basket bowl at home after perfecting your skills on the first one!

• Creating the center starting coil
• Blanket stitching coils together
• Weaving in ends as you go
• How to add a new length of yarn
• Maintaining the shape of the bowl
• Tips on the finishing row and end loop

Please note, this class is designed for Adult Beginners and up. 

Materials:

The class includes three hours of instruction in a small group setting, supplies not included. The required Naomi Nesting Bowls Kit can be purchased in-store before or the day of class using a 15% off Class Discount. The kit includes enough supplies that you can make a second larger basket bowl at home after perfecting your skills on the first one in class!
