Join instructor Nichole Heady in learning the embellishment concepts from the popular "Embroidery on Knits" book by Judit Gummlich. Get hands on experience with the basics and techniques you need to embellish your own knitted or crocheted projects with woolen embroidery. This is your chance to make something handmade even more unique and personal. And it is SO much easier than you think!
- Transferring the embroidery templates onto Stick & Stitch
- Tips for ideal placement of stick & stitch on knitwear
- Initially attaching yarn
- Basic embroidery stitches such as chain, daisy and french knot
- Finishing details
This class is designed for Adult Knitters/Crocheters ready for Beginner Level embroidery.
If you would like to knit a new project specifically for this class, here are some great suggestions. Anything you decide on should have a fairly large area that is just garter or stockinette stitch to serve as a neutral backdrop to your embroidery.

Please bring to class:
- One piece of knitting, knitwear or knit swatch (see suggestions above)

5-10yds leftover yarn from project/swatch for tone-on-tone look or contrast color in similar weight for multi-color effect
- Tapestry needle
