This soft pastel shade of blue is a lovely choice for highlights or flowers. Pale blue is often said to be “for boys”, but this wasn’t always the case. “Pink for girls and blue for boys” only became the convention in the mid-twentieth century. In the 1800s the opposite was true because blue was seen as the more delicate feminine color.
